Why Videos?
Videos have risen to be almost as important as pictures in Real Estate. YouTube offers more potential exposure than television. It’s free and incredibly accessible to people. Below are some of the tools that will help agents start their video adventures.
Seriously – this is way easy!
A few things you’ll need:
1. You’ll need a YouTube account. Go to www.YouTube.com and setup a free account, it only takes a few minutes.
2. Go to www.Google.com/Picasa download and install the program. It resides locally on your computer so you don’t need to be connected to the internet to use it, until you go to post the video on YouTube. In the demo below, I show you how to post to your own account, but for OnLocation, you’ll want to create the video on your computer and then to go into CBWorks to upload the video to OnLocation.
3. http://www.sxc.hu/ has free stock graphics, if you need extra material for your online presentation.
4. You can get royalty-free sound files and music from http://freeplaymusic.com. Please do not use music from your CD’s or iTunes for your marketing. You need to use royalty-free music.
There, now that you’ve created accounts and bookmarked free tools, you can create your video. (note the video tutorial was created for my company Coldwell Banker Elite)
